Your app license

The proposed offer is a USD $29.99 one-time license for one named owner, with activation on up to two Macs. Do not share or resell license codes. Deactivate an existing Mac before moving an activation to another.

Commercial use of generated sounds

The Impact Studio license permits you to use sounds generated with the included engine and content in commercial music, films, trailers, games, advertising and client projects. Impact Studio does not charge an additional per-project royalty. Your use remains subject to applicable law, the included engine terms and any rights in material you import. This permission does not grant a right to extract or redistribute the app’s internal content, models or software.

Reconstruction and imported material

Use reconstructed results commercially only when you own the input recording and hold the necessary rights to everything it contains, or have explicit permission covering reconstruction and your intended commercial use. This can include separate rights in a recording, a composition and other incorporated material. Purchasing or downloading a recording alone does not transfer its copyright.

Reconstruction changes audio; it does not clear rights. A reconstruction, variation or close recreation may still contain protected elements of the source. Processing copyrighted material with AI does not automatically make it yours or royalty-free. You are responsible for obtaining the required permissions before commercial use.

Outputs and ownership

We do not claim ownership of your original recordings or your generated outputs. Permission to use an output is distinct from whether copyright protection exists in that output. Results may not be unique, may contain artifacts, and are not guaranteed to be free of third-party claims. Review outputs before publication.

Third-party engine terms

The app includes third-party software and engine components with separate conditions. The current Stable Audio Community License includes commercial eligibility requirements, including an annual-revenue threshold; a separate enterprise license may be required. Review the full notices supplied with the app and the engine licensing information. Impact Studio cannot waive those conditions.

Local processing and connectivity

Audio generation, reconstruction, analysis and editing happen on your Mac. Your audio and prompts are not uploaded to an online AI service. Internet is required for activation and the initial engine download; purchase, license checks and recovery also use online services. Audio work can continue offline after setup.

Product requirements

Impact Studio is a standalone Apple Silicon Mac application, not an AU or VST plugin. Performance varies by hardware and sound settings. Hardware targets and release support will be finalized before launch.
